What is pico-electrodynamics
PED deals with the exploration of electrodynamic fields inside matter at the atomistic level. Some of the phenomena unique to the PED regime include new topological electrodynamic phases of matter, anomalous atomistic waves, and angular momentum of gauge fields coupled to charges.

The theory network brings together diverse researchers to explore macroscopic phenomena stemming from microscopic pico-electrodynamic fields inside matter. Active collaborations bridge the gap between researchers involved in topological electronic band theory, quantum materials, quantum optics, density functional theory, nanophotonics, computational electromagnetics, and computational many-body physics.
