Md Roknuzzaman

Postdoc at University of New South Wales

The Ph.D. project of Md Roknuzzaman has been focused on the development of non-toxic materials for energy applications such as solar cells, batteries, light emitting diodes, lasers, photodetectors, and other energy devices. He has been conducting DFT (Density Functional Theory) calculations to investigate the structural, electronic, optical, and mechanical properties of perovskite materials to find Pb-free suitable perovskites for photovoltaic and optoelectronic applications. He has already shown significant progress in the development of non-toxic organic-inorganic hydride perovskites and double perovskites materials for photovoltaic and other energy device applications.
